I think a smart lawyer could pull it off all it takes is the right angle and a smart lawyer and I think the line of people to collect damages might be in the hundreds of thousand because I remember the WT boasting about the number of disfellowshipped around 40,000 one years back in the 70's. So the number could be huge depending on access to the WT files because the WT keeps a record of all df persons . So I'm thinking notification of all those in those files would have to be surrender in the courts so as to give all an opportunity to collect damages for emotional pain and suffering. Giving them free access to the trial proceedings to make up their mind.

I think I'm all for a reconfiguration of the amygdala so that pain is interpreted differently by the brain and suffering ends. Evolution gave us the suffering of pain for survival but evolution can be improved upon it never provides best means for survival but mainly what works by a mutation process. I think this might be a giant step for homo sapiens as the turn into homo evolutis.

From my understanding of Enlightenment it is a sort of rewiring of the brain where the signals go up pleasure side of the amygdala where as painful emotions and sensations go up the other side. Negative emotions and pain use up a lot of processing power and so limit true intelligence. An enlightened person has most of his brain signals going up the positive side of the amygdala and so reacts to things that cause pain differently as all suffering has ended he acts with intelligence instead of the painful emotion type reaction.
I feel with the tools we moderns now have we can examine the brain and make the adjustments in the way it processes information so that in the near future we will have a completely transformed species with much more intelligence.
I would even bet that the top governments are looking into this and researching the subject as a real possibility.

I have a feeling the laws will also change and allow for more lawsuit, especially as knowledge about this cruel treatments of a members who became aware of their fraud and be looked at by the judicial system as whistle blowers who were severely mistreated by enforced shunning. The damage could be huge and forced apology given read in every congregation with nothing to do but reform or die in a less swifter death in the court that seems to be gaining momentum.
I think that might some day come about where it is an open and shut case for many lawsuits because of the information age. But when coming at them from the right angle and hitting them with a 1st in the line of many more for their corrupt practice of Df'n people,, and once lawyers smell blood in the water the lawsuits will keep coming. And in order to maximize damage control the GB will be forced for pure survival reason to give it up and reform.
At least that's the way I see it panning out in the future it very well could be wishful thinking on my part but I'm optimistic.
